Private Guided Days
You can hire our climbing guides for full or half days. Multi-pitch days are only available as full days. Rates are based on group size and format (single or multi-pitch).
Single pitch routes are short and typically one rope length. The climber returns to the ground after climbing towards the top of the route and can be lowered at any point if they decide they want to stop or take a break from climbing the route.
Multi-pitch routes are longer in length. Think about 3 different climbs in your gym, except they are stacked on top of each other instead of next to each other and you climb the entire length of those routes. The cliff in the Shawangunks is no more than 250ft, but the views are spectacular and being able to see the Hudson Valley from the cliff is as adventurous as it is special.
Guided days are always fully customizable to your experience, needs, and goals. A guide will get in touch to work with you directly after booking.
All prices include your day pass for the climbing area. If you are a current Annual Membership Plus Member of the Mohonk Preserve, please email us (info@riseoutside.org) after completing your booking in order to receive a $25 refund off your booking price for each member. Your program must take place in the Mohonk Preserve and you must bring your pass with you on the day of your program in order to be eligible for this discount.
